We Tried Pepsi Fire and Here's What You Need to Know

Pepsi is known for brewing attention with limited-edition flavors. The soda-pop giant has experimented with fizzy drinks that characteristic hints of lime, cherry-red, vanilla and even coffee. At present Pepsi has released its newest flavor-Pepsi Fire. It's a cinnamon-flavored soda that's existence marketed as "the hottest drinkable of the summer." I was curious to see if that claim rang true, so I croaky open a cold one and gave it a try. Here's what you need to know:

The Packaging

On the outside, Pepsi Fire looks like a hip, summery drink. Its red-and-orange label put me in the mood to hit the embankment or fire upwards the grill for a BBQ. I read the fine impress: "cinnamon flavored cola; natural and bogus cinnamon flavor." Cinnamon usually goes one of two ways: It tin be cloyingly sweet-think gummy buns-or deliver spicy estrus, similar those Atomic Fireballs you might've had every bit a child.
